Negotiation Facilitation

Woman in Negotiation

When stalled negotiations need a way forward

Are your negotiations stalled, stuck, unclear, or unproductive? Peacefield provides party-neutral thought-partnership and structured facilitation to help participants move the conversation forward.

Our Negotiation Facilitation service sits between ordinary negotiation and formal mediation: more structured than negotiating alone, but less formal than mediating a legal dispute.

Better conversations. Better negotiations.

You may agree on the broad direction of a transaction, project, relationship, or decision and still find yourselves unable to resolve particular terms, articulate priorities, or turn general alignment into a shared understanding.

Negotiation Facilitation creates a structured, neutral process for working through those sticking points. Peacefield helps participants identify what has already been resolved, surface the issues preventing further progress, clarify interests and constraints, explore possible approaches, and articulate areas of agreement with greater precision.

Unlike mediation, Negotiation Facilitation is not designed to resolve a legal dispute through a formal settlement agreement or release of claims. The goal is to help participants make progress in the negotiation itself. When useful, the process may conclude with a non-binding summary of agreed points, a statement of shared understanding, or an outline of next steps.
